Recreational offerings for our members and their guests include horseback riding on miles of equestrian trails, golfing the well maintained 9-hole golf course, tennis, swimming, fishing in two well-stocked lakes, a shooting range, archery range, camp grounds, workout facility, gym and more.
BVSA Annual Board of Director Election 2013-2014
The BVSA Board of Directors election is approaching fast. Election Day is June 8, 2013. A recent change to our BVSA Bylaws has provided for 2-year staggered terms for Board Members. New Board Members elected this year will serve from June 8, 2013 through June 13, 2015. The three Board members with the highest number of votes at last year’s election will continue their service for one more year. Those Board Members are Terry Quinn, Jeanne Gray and John McGuffey. This leaves two seats open for the upcoming two year term.

Ballots were mailed out on May 6, 2013. Be sure to send in your ballot, whether you choose to vote or not. If we do not meet the quorum requirements, the Association will be forced to hold another election at a cost of approximately $10,000 to the membership.

Mark Your Calendar
The BVSA Assessment for 2013-2014 Fiscal Year is due on July 1, 2013. Look for your statement in the mail beginning in June. The assessment amount this year is announced in the Special Annual Disclosure issue of the Bear Tracks, due to be mailed the latter part of May. Please note, assessments are deemed to be late after July 31, 2013.
