Notice of Emergency Rule Change to the BVSA Rules


At a Special Board meeting held on March 26, 2018, the Bear Valley Springs Board of Directors adopted the following Emergency Rule Change to the BVSA rules, effective immediately.  


(Deletions are shown in strikethrough type and additions in boldface underlined type)


Add to Section 700 General, Subdivision (b), as follows:


(b)  California state law prohibits motorized vehicles on horseback riding trails.  This law will be enforced in Bear Valley Springs.  Bicycles are subject to the same provisions as vehicles and are therefore prohibited on the riding and hiking trails.  (Ref: CSD Code 6-3-15:A.1.)

      Violation of this rule may result in the Board of Directors levying a fine up to $1,000 for any single occurrence to any member, a members’ family, guests, employees, invitees, licensees or tenants.

Purpose and Effect of the Change

To avoid a potential safety hazard.


This emergency rule change is effective immediately and will expire on July 17, 2018.
